Cash trend of China fishmeal has been keeping quietly flat at RMB19,000/ton at Shanghai port during the week while coastal fishing ban is to be relieved soon since later part of August or earlier Sept. Meanwhile, China ports are recently receiving certain amounts of fishmeal cargoes from other resources to prevent stockpiles at ports from further reducing.

FM Comments: Chinese users are expecting what viewpoints with regarding marine biomass could be brought by the newly announced 10-day-long exploratory fishing where is to be activated by IMARPE since Aug 3. Before hearing any good news, China ports have received certain fishmeal cargoes from other resources and Chinese users are looking forward regular domestic productions after ban lifted for coastal fishing. RMB cash trend would be shortly keeping firm at RMB19,000-19,500/ton during exploratory anchovy fishing and how smooth China resumes coastal fishing in a few weeks.
