Today Comments:
Feed finished products RMB Prices Rising Across South China to reflect the higher cost of protein materials.
Feed prices in South China are on the rise. The market is increasingly concerned about a potential shortage of U.S. soybeans in the domestic market during the fourth quarter, which may lead to tighter soybean meal supplies. This has strengthened feed manufacturers’ willingness to raise soybean meal prices, driving the price upward.
Imported Fishmeal in China:
In the domestic market for imported fishmeal, port inventories have declined, and supplies of certain grades are tight, which has supported the market. Currently, the fishmeal price has an increase of 100 RMB about last week.
China Domestic Produced Fishmeal:
Although seasonal fishing bans in certain sea areas are gradually being lifted, raw fish catches remain limited. As a result, domestic fishmeal supply is low, and prices are supported. In Shandong, the reference price for domestically produced fishmeal (63% protein, TVN 150) is around 10,600 RMB/ton. These prices are for indication only.
