Today Comments:
For the 2025 second fishing season of anchovy in the north-central region of Peru, the provisional total allowable catch (TAC) has been set at 500,000 metric tons (MT) by the Ministry of Production of Peru (PRODUCE).
It is important to note that this figure is provisional — the final quota will depend on the results of a scientific survey conducted by Institute of the Sea of Peru (IMARPE).
This has led most Chinese fishmeal holders to maintain firm RMB prices and adopt a wait-and-see attitude, with prices rising sharply and some suspending quotations to observe the market, though demand remains weak.
As for soybean imports are abundant, ensuring ample supply. Although SBM production is high in China demand from downstream feed and livestock companies is limited, leaving oil plants with little incentive to support RMB prices.
Remark:
This is a gentle reminder, for MOA China license renewal, the application should be submitted to Beijing 6 months prior to expire, please contact CFO License Center earlier.
