2) Today’s Price Indication (23 April 2026)

Today’s Commentary:
Soybean meal has fallen below RMB 3,000/ton, while fishmeal remains firm. Feed raw material cost pressure is still relatively high. Following the feed RMB price increases in March, recently, in South China, prices of regular aquafeed have risen again, with an increase of RMB 125–280/ton.

More market status about fishmeal:
In Peru: The pre-sale reference price for the new season Peruvian Super Prime Fishmeal is CNF USD 2,600/ton. Regarding fishing activity, the catch volume from April 9 to April 19 reached 282,606 tons, achieving 14.76% of the quota.

In China: The domestic imported fishmeal market, prices remain firm and stable, while port inventories continue to increase. RMB Prices for Peruvian Super Prime Fishmeal remain firm & steady.

However, standard-grade fishmeal has risen significantly by RMB 700, reaching RMB 17,200, and the market is expected to stay strong in the short term.
