Today’s Commentary:
Peru’s new-season Super Prime fishmeal is being offered for pre-sale at a reference price of USD 2,800/ton CNF level, with Recently, Peruvian fishmeal producers have continued to hold firm on prices, pushing them to record highs.

In China, inventory at China main ports is declining. Today, the price of Peruvian Super Prime fishmeal increased by another RMB 200. The market is expected to stay firm in the short term. As such, Fishmeal RMB prices have now risen to historic highs, leading to corresponding increases in aqua-feed prices.

Soybean arrivals at Chinese ports are currently at peak levels. Although supply expectations are improving, aquaculture demand remains weak, putting continued pressure on soybean meal RMB prices.
