2) Today’s Price Indication (25 June 2026)

Today’s Commentary:
Peruvian fishmeal continues to be firm at around US$3,000/MT (Super Prime). This has driven the China imported fishmeal market to remain at elevated levels, while fishmeal stocks at China main ports continue to decline. In the short term, the strong upward trend in fishmeal prices is expected to persist.

The continued rise in fishmeal RMB prices has stimulated the development of numerous feed alternatives, including fermented soybean meal, insect meal, crystalline amino acids, MBM, poultry meal, chicken intestines and livers, pork meal, and other substitute ingredients.

However, fishmeal replacement is not simply a matter of substituting one ingredient for another. It requires a long-term reconstruction of the entire nutritional system, including feed formulation strategies, amino acid balance, digestibility optimization, gut health management, and overall animal performance considerations.
