2) Today’s Price Indication (02 September 2026)

Today’s Commentary:

Peruvian fishmeal prices remain firm. Inventories at China main ports have piled up slightly.  In China, fishing activities have begun to resume. As a result, RMB prices for domestically produced fishmeal in Rongcheng, Shandong, specifically 63% protein / TVN 150, have been reduced by approximately RMB 300–500 today. We will closely monitor the increase in domestic fishmeal supply as well as downstream demand.

Note: Updated fishing ban end dates for China’s four major fishing areas:
1. South China Sea: The moratorium officially ended at 12:00 noon on August 16, 2026, and fishing activities have fully resumed.
2. Yellow Sea & Bohai Sea: The moratorium officially ended at 12:00 noon on September 1, 2026, with tens of thousands of fishing vessels already setting sail to resum fishing.
3. East China Sea and parts of the Yellow Sea: The moratorium will end at 12:00 noon on September 16, 2026.

Poultry meal: Current RMB prices for poultry meal are stable to slightly weak, mainly due to the influence of domestically produced poultry meal. Its pricing has also become less closely correlated with fishmeal RMB prices. Although domestic poultry meal has slightly lower protein content, it has relatively high amino acid content, good freshness, and abundant supply, which is limiting the extent to which imported PBM prices can rise in RMB terms.

Brazilian PBM has also been arriving gradually and has received favorable market feedback. With competition in the market expected to intensify, import volumes are likely to increase significantly due to Brazil market opened.
