Today’s Commentary:

Peruvian fishmeal producers have little available inventory for sale, and most are not actively offering prices. The reference pre-sale price for Peruvian Super Steam fishmeal is currently around USD 3,600/MT CNF, with actual transactions subject to negotiation.

In China, fishmeal inventories at major ports have gradually increased to over 140,000 MT. Market sentiment among fishmeal suppliers varies, but overall offer prices have remained relatively stable.

For Chinese domestic production fishmeal RMB prices are under downward pressure following the end of the fishing ban and expectations of increased domestic production.

In Rongcheng, Shandong Province, the reference price for domestic fishmeal with 63% protein and TVN 150 is currently RMB 18,300/MT, down RMB 500/MT.

We will continue to closely monitor domestic fishmeal production and demand conditions in China.
