Looking at the numbers, it looked like a quieter week in the grain/oilseed business in the US. Corn prices managed to remain close to unchanged for the week, as did soybeans, while soymeal did move USD 7 to 10 m/t higher and wheat prices all moved up with Hard Red Winter (HRW) leading the way by increasing about USD 8 m/t.........please click PDF to see more details

It is great to be back to preparing the Weekly Report again but the last couple of Saturdays have been very relaxed and enjoyable with no pressure of reports. Now back to work.

Both US corn and wheat had downturns this week with corn prices dropping by about USD 10 m/t while US winter wheat was down by close to USD 14 m/t. US spring wheat was down bur not as far with a drop of USD 10 m/t.
