The second season of anchovy fishing in the north-central area of Peru Update Nov 2018

According to the resolution signed by Minister Raul Perez Reyes, the quota will be 400,000 tons. The Peruvian Ministerial Resolution explained in fact that the 400,000 metric-tons is a temporary quota to be landed within 10 days in the area from the northern Peruvian border and the area of Huarmey  (16°00’LS).  .
 
The second season on will begin at 00:00 hours on Thursday, December 15 and will end when the entire quota is captured or when recommended by the Insitute of the Sea of Peru (IMARPE) due to environmental or biological circumstances.

Peru Fishing Season A completed on 8 August 2018

Peru goverment stop fishing, 5% of quota uncompleted

 

On August 8, 2018 under Ministerial Resolution of the Ministry of Production No 329-2018-PRODUCE the end of the first fishing season of this year was declared.

 

IMARPE (Peruvian sea institute), by the letter No 759-2018-IMARPE/DEC, refer the "Report of the First Anchovy Fishing Season in the North-Central Peruvian Sea Region"
