The week finished on a strong note for grains and oilseeds although soymeal didn’t act the same. US corn prices moved up by about USD 5 m/t on Friday but were still only up by a couple of dollars on the week.......please click PDF to see more details

Monday is a holiday in a lot of countries --- much of Europe will be closed on Monday along with the USA. As is usual with three day weekends grain/oilseed markets had a strong day on Friday with prices pushing higher. It was another down week for prices for all grains, oilseeds and protein meals. Old crop corn was down by USD 10 m/t with new crop only down by USD 4 to 6 m/t as the old crop/new crop spread gets smaller.
