This past week was another down week – corn prices were down by about USD 7 m/t with soybeans down by as much as USD 10 m/t and soymeal down by USD 8 to 10 m/t. A lot of USA grain experts are now looking very closely at the weather and seeing quite a bit of hot and dry weather in coming days --- so far this is short term but could become longer term which should certainly help to push prices higher. USA old crop soybean prices were higher again this week as demand seemed to run ahead of supply before we see the new crop.
