This week has been more of an up week for grain and oilseed prices --- old crop corn prices moved higher by close to USD 9 m/t while new crop remained steady. Old crop soybeans were up by about USD 3 while, like corn, new crop was steady. .....please clcik PDF to see more details

It was pretty well an up week for everything this week with soybeans and soymeal leading the market --- soybeans were up by at least USD 25 m/t while soymeal was up by about USD 20 m/t. Well what do you know --- a down week for soybeans and soymeal --- we haven’t seen that too often lately. Soybeans dropped by as much as USD 15 mt while soymeal was down by just over USD 20 m/t. This week was a USDA WASDE week which can make daily prices somewhat suspect --- prices move around a lot just before the report then quickly try adjust as soon as the report is issued. It normally takes a few days – into the next week – before price jitters calm down.......please click PDF to see more details

The week ended with prices moving up on Friday, which changed most items from lower prices to steady on the week or a little lower. Corn prices did drop by a couple of dollars but that is nothing in the market while both soybeans and soymeal ended up almost unchanged on the week. Only USA wheat prices stayed lower all week with winter wheatdown by about USD 7 m/t with spring wheat
