CFO Protein Meal Market Update Aug 2019

 
1. Fishmeal
- Peru super prime fishmeal USDollar price sharply dropped about US$80/mt in a week mainly because poor demand in China. Today, super prime quality only US$1400/mt CNF which is recent years low
 
- Fishmeal inventory at China main port is closed to 300,000mt which is historic high in peak season and we estimated more than 350,000mt PEFM to arrive China in coming months. It is high possibility that fishmeal inventory at China main ports remain at this level till year end.

Chinese Protein meal market update May 2017

Chinese Protein meal market update :
 
FISHMEAL
Total Importing Jan - March: 338,000 mt (mainly from Peru 210,000 mt) with averaged price US$1,454/mt CIF 
(price is for reference only as mixed with various quality & origins) 
Total imported 2016:  1.03 millions tons/annual avg. 1554/mt CIF
 
We estimated that fishmeal RMB price is continuing weak in coming week.
